Standards:
- Explain the impact of alcohol and other drug use on vehicle crashes, injuries, violence and
risky sexual behavior
- Analyze the role of the individual, family, community and cultural norms on the use of alcohol

Objectives:
1. Define Alcoholism
2. Explain alcohol abuse
3. Analyze risky behaviors with alcohol
4. Define a Standard Drink

Anticipatory Set:
Show a picture of the harmful effects of alcohol use and have an open discussion how it effects
the students.
