Present Simple Dominoes
This enjoyable dominoes game is perfect for reviewing the present simple tense.
Before class, make one copy of the cards for each pair of students and cut as indicated.
Procedure
Divide the students into pairs
Give each pair a set of dominoes and tell them to divide the dominoes out equally.
One student places a domino in front of them. The other student has to make a complete
sentence or question by placing one of his or her dominoes at either end of the first domino.
If a student puts down a domino that doesn't make a grammatically correct sentence or
question, they must pick up their domino and miss a turn.
If a student cannot go, they pass to the other student.
The students continue taking it in turns to place dominoes until one student has no dominoes
left. That student is the winner.
