    StandardOperatingProcedures

    1. NomemberoftheNewYorkPoliceDepartmentwillcommitacrimewhileondutyor
    offduty.
    2. NomemberoftheNewYorkPoliceDepartmentwillengageinanyformofgambling
    whileonduty.
    3. NomemberoftheNewYorkPoliceDepartmentwillconsumeanyformofanalcoholic
    beveragewhileonduty.
    4. NomemberoftheNewYorkPoliceDepartmentwillconvictasuspectofacrimeifthey
    wereknockedoutposteriortothecrime.Anotherofficermustwitnessthecrimeforthe
    suspecttobeconvicted.
    5. NomemberoftheNewYorkPoliceDepartmentwillengageindisorderlyconductwhile
    onduty.Thisincludesbutisnotlimitedtoharassmentofthepublic,disrespectingthe
    public,anddisrespectingfellowofficers.
    6. NomemberoftheNewYorkPoliceDepartmentwillacceptabribeand/orgratuity.
    7. NomemberoftheNewYorkPoliceDepartmentwillremaininasingleroomformore
    than10(ten)minutes.
    8. NomemberoftheNewYorkPoliceDepartmentwillbeapartofagang.Exception:
    NYPDgangisallowed.
    9. NomemberoftheNewYorkPoliceDepartmentwilldiscloseanyinformationonanother
    personsarrest.Thisincludesbutisnotlimitedtoasuspectscharges,asuspectstime,
    andifapersoniswanted.
    10. NomemberoftheNewYorkPoliceDepartmentwillbecomeidlewhileonduty.
