A horrible crisis that went wrong

Thirty-Eight who Saw Murder Didn't Call the Police, published by New York Times,
and written by Martin Gansberg, illustrates thirty eight citizens who watched a killer
stab Catherine Gansberg three separate times. She was on her way home from work
when she noticed a man at the far end of the lot. The man grabs her stabs her as he
leaves she starts screaming for help. He returned a third time to stab and her, the
third time is fatal. There were many watching from their windows but did nothing to
help. The police were finally called at 3:50 am. Once the police arrived at 4:25 to
take the body away everyone came out and told the police that they didn't want to
get involved with the murder.
