Troop 126
April 2016 Newsletter

Thank You
Thank you to Mr. Nielsen for again
handling the Easter Lily Fundraiser. 123
plants were sold with a profit of $376.15 to
Troop 126. Nolan Gundlach and Josh
Gregory assisted in the delivery and our
thanks goes out to them, too.
Thank you to Scouting for Food
coordinator, Mrs. Strom for heading this up
again! Thank you to leader Mr. Miles and
scouts Nolan Tremelling, Ethan Wilkins,
Gus Weiss and Jackson Hemmig for
coming out to help. 13,300 lbs of food was
collected!
Big thanks to Gary Alvarado and Luca
Alvarado for representing the Troop by
building the fire for the Easter Vigil mass!

Milaegers Fundraiser
Orders for Milaegers gift cards will take
place between April 5-19th. They will be
ready for delivery Tuesday May 3rd to be
delivered before Mothers Day, May 8,
2016. This is a great way for the boys to
earn scout credits to pay for camping or
Napowan because 17% profit will be made
on plant gift cards and 10% profit for each
store gift card sold. The buyer will get a gift
card for the full amount spent and the boys
will get 90% of the profit. The troop will
benefit by retaining 10% for troop expenses.
If you would like more information, please
contact Mrs. Wilkins at 262.681-8708.

NAPOWAN
Adventure Base
NAPOWAN Adventure Base
July 24th July 30th
Dont Forget! Physicals will be needed for
this camp for all scouts and adults
attending. Make your appointment(s) as
soon as possible with your doctor.
Each year, in order to get a reduced fee, we
pay for Napowan early in April. The early
bird special is $290.00 for all scouts!
Troop 126 would again like to offer the
scout families a payment plan to help with
the Napowan camp fees. With this plan, the
troop pays for the fees upfront and the scout
family pays the troop back via an
installment plan over a three-month period.
The payment plan involves the following:

1- parent/guardian signing a contract by set

date, agreeing to pay all fees for Napowan
by the June 14, 2016.
2-All the money in scout's credit account up
to $100 would be used towards Napowan
3-If the amount in the scout's credit account
is less than $100 the parent/guardian would
have to make a payment to bring the
amount up to $100 when the contract is
turned in when due.
4-The balance of would be made in three
payments:
April 26 meeting- $100.00
May 17 meeting - $100.00
June 14 meeting- $90.00
5-There is no refunds or cancellations of the
contract once we send the money to
Napowan unless Napowan agrees to refund
the money to us.
There is no need to sign a contract if you
decide to pay the full amount and forgo the
early bird fee. The full cost of Napowan is
$330.00 (First year scouts are only $290.00)
and is due June 14th if you do not wish to
take advantage of the early bird special.
Please Jan Strom know if you are interested
in the payment plan by sending her and
email and she will get a contract to you so
that you can submit your first payment by
date needed. See Napowan overview
document that was sent for more
information.
