not need to be a percentage.)
Evaluation Plan- How will
you know students have
mastered your objectives?

I will know that the students have mastered the objectives by both observing their
participation in the we portion of the lesson as well as their final product where they
have filled in the missing numbers.

Address the following:

What formative
evidence will you use to
document student learning
during this lesson?

What summative
evidence will you collect,
either during this lesson or
in upcoming lessons?

The teacher will then pass out a worksheet of a hundreds chart with
numbers missing and have one projected so the students can follow
along.
The teacher will then guide students to fill in numbers one through
fifty, stopping to have students work with other students at their
table to come up with the answer and share with the class.
The students will then work independently to fill in the rest of the
numbers. During this time, the teacher will walk around the
classroom and observe and provide additional assistance where
needed.
Finally the teacher will bring the students back together to check
their answers and address any misconceptions.

The students in this particular class respond well to music and often music is used to
anchor concepts. Based on what I know about the students, I believe that music will be
the most effective in activating prior knowledge.

Differentiationbased on
the needs of your students
how will you take
individual and group
learning differences into
account.

For students who need enrichment in math, I will have them go work independently at
the back table and come together to check their responses with the class.
For students who need intervention in math, when the student work independently the
teacher will provide additional support.

Relevant Psychological
Theories and research
taken in consideration
when planning this lesson

This lesson plan draws off of the theory of Gradual Release of Responsibility. When all
goes according to plan the teacher will model what is expected, the students and the
teacher will practice independently and then finally the students will demonstrate what
they know.
