Milites Christi

Our Mission:
We are a brotherhood of Catholic young men that
is dedicated to the personal formation of its
members and to sharing Christ and His Church
with the world. We do this through building strong
friendships and through sports and activities that
challenge each other to grow in our faith, both
intellectually and spiritually.
Membership Information and Guidelines:
The group is open to practicing Catholic young men ages 13 years and older. A
new member may begin attending in the month that he turns 13.
As a member and witness to Christ all members agree to:
Use language and behavior that reflect Christ-centered minds and hearts so
as to be witnesses to the Faith we profess in word and deed.
Wear clothes that display one's respect for his body as a temple of the
Holy Spirit and that make one approachable and/or acceptable as
witnesses of Christ, such as appropriate fitting clothes e.g. no sagging
pants or gang style clothing.
Since sports and other outdoor activities are a regular part of the monthly
meetings the group and its moderators will not be held responsible for injuries
that may be incurred during these at will activities.
The groups apologetic discussions and debates focus on the Catholic Church's
dogma and teachings. Subjects that may include mature topics, such as human
sexuality and sins against chastity, are necessary for the formation of young
Catholic men and it is assumed members have been educated on human sexuality
from a Catholic perspective at home. The moderators will espouse Catholic
teaching and use discretion while directing these open format discussions but will
not be held responsible for statements made by those present.
We encourage attendance by members fathers and welcome their participation.
Parents of young men under the age of 18 and young men 18 and older who are members
of the Milites Christi have read, understand and agree to the guidelines documented
herein and accept responsibility for such.
