Dear Parents/Guardians,

My name is Ms. Graff and I am a student teacher in Ms. Bernards classroom this
spring. I am so excited to work with and get to know your child over the next few
months.
My goal in student teaching is to foster an inviting classroom community where
students feel supported, valued, and have the opportunity to grow individually
and as a group. I am encouraged to have the wonderful support and guidance of
Ms. Bernard as I work to make this goal a reality during my time with our
scholars.
I am a recent graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts
degree in Special Education. This summer I was a camp director at a summer
day camp working with 3rd graders. Additionally, I have been a classically trained
Mezzo-Soprano opera singer for 13 years. I am currently working towards my
licensure as a Special Education teacher by participating in a year-long
internship through Michigan State University. I am looking forward to growing and
learning from your children throughout my student teaching.
