    An experiment measured the temperature at different lengths of a material when heat of 20 and 40 watts was applied. Temperatures decreased as length increased from 10 to 90 mm for both heat levels. Doubling the heat from 20 to 40 watts increased the temperature measured along the entire length range. A graph clearly shows the inverse relationship between temperature and length and the higher temperatures achieved with greater applied heat.
