gettoknowSamiduringthe20142015schoolyearwhenshewasaspecialeducation
associateinmyclassroom.IamcertainthatSamiwillmakeapositiveimpactonthestudentsin
herclassroomandwouldmakeagreatassettoyourschool.

Duringtheyearweworkedtogether,Samiwasaoneononeassociateforastudentwith
academicandbehavioralspecialeducationgoals.IwasimpressedwiththewaySamistepped
intoachallengingsituationwithpoise.Shecreatedatrusting,respectfulrelationshipwiththe
student.Samiwentoutofherwaytogettoknowtheotherstudentsinourclassanddeveloped
strongrapportwiththem.

Samiisadedicatedandreliablepersonwhofoundjoyinworkingwithstudentsandhelping
themsucceed.IknowSamiwillmakeagreatadditiontoaschoolassheisintuitivetothe
needsofherstudentsandthosearoundher.Iwasimpressedwithherabilitytoassesshowthe
studentwasfeelingandreactwithappropriatedecisionstofostersuccessandcreatethebest
learningenvironmentforthestudent.Samilearnsquicklyandverydetailoriented.Shewas
conscientiousaboutleavingclearsubplansandmakingsureeverythingwaspreparedincase
shewasabsent.

IwouldstronglyrecommendthatyouconsiderSamiRichmondforateachingpositionatyour
