A BRIEFING ON PREPARATION OF OPENING CEREMONY

OF NEWSPAPER IN EDUCATION (N.I.E) PROGRAMME by

1. Greetings
Afternoon Session Supervisor Mr. Taufik bin Arshad welcomes
everyone that are present for the briefing
He also apologizes on the short notice of the briefing in the sense
that it is totally out of his control since it involves a Guest of Honour
2. Details of the briefing
The opening ceremony
The ceremony will be held on 30 th March 2016, 2.00pm onwards in
Dewan Seri Ruai
It will involve 571 afternoon session students, 40 students from SK
Tuanku Bagus, Sebuyau, 150 teachers from various primary schools
in Sebuyau (which includes Senior Assistants and Headmasters) and
43 afternoon session teachers
Seating position of all has been discussed and Mr Ibrahim is incharge of the preparation of the hall before the ceremony. He also
informs all that he will be helped by Afternoon Session Scouts for
the matter
Mr Taufik kindly reminds everyone to obey the job specification so
that the event could run smoothly.
Mr Othna, as the Head of Panel, also gently informs everyone to
give cooperation. He also explains shortly on what everyone needs
to do and to prepare for the event. The gimmick of opening
ceremony has been decided as well. All teachers agree on the use
of whiteboard which will then be decorated appropriately. Mr Othna
has also contacted The Principal for a favour of finding a nice
souvenir to be given to our Guest of Honour
Behind the event
Students are to be seated in class by 1.10pm. Attendance shall be
taken by the class teacher and students will be given some
tidbit/finger food

The class teacher then needs to accompany the students in line and
proceeds to the hall. Students should be seated accordingly before
2pm
Teachers are reminded to spread the news to all
3. Other Matter
There will be a Staff Meeting on 31 st March 2016, at 5.30pm.
Students are allowed to go home then.
New Interim teachers will be in the afternoon session.
