Microsoft Office Powerpoint.
d. Use design in Microsoft Office Powerpoint Presentation
e. Apply animations and transitions in Microsoft Office Powerpoint.
f. Save and Print Powerpoint Presentation slides.
g. Create a Powerpoint presentation about their family.

different parts and functions
of Microsoft Office
Powerpoint. This is the
Microsoft Office Powerpoint
interface. The Home Tab
includes what elements?

It includes the clipboard,


font, slides, paragraph,
editing and drawing.
Clipping options such as
copy, paste, cut.
Delete slide, create new
slide, and reset.

Correct! So, the functions


found in this tab are?
Ok. How about the slide
options?
Good! The font and
paragraph options contain
the same features as the MS
Word. The drawing options
include inserting shapes and
filling effects. The editing
category also has the same
features like finding and
replacing. How about the
Insert Tab?
And what can you see
under the Design Tab?
Yes, youre correct. Its
functions are the same
except it has the media clips
wherein you can insert video
clips and audio clips in you
presentation. What can you
see under the Design Tab?
Very good! You can also
choose the theme of your
slides here. Then, we have

illustrations, links, text and
media clips.

We can see there the page


setup, slide orientation,
themes and background.

It enables you to hide,


insert narration to slide and
change resolution.

here the Animations Tab.


Therefore, you can select
some animations found
under this tab to make your
presentation even beautiful.
And, the next tab is the
Slideshow. What does this
tab do?
Alright! The Review Tab
enables you to check
spelling, insert comments to
slides and manage your
presentations permission.
And lastly, the View tab
which enables you to view
your slides in normal view,
slide sorter, notes page view,
slideshow, slidemaster, and
etc. You can insert pictures,
clip art, shapes, smartart and
charts by choosing from the
icons found at the center of
the slide or going to the
Insert Tab then selest your
desired object to input into
your slide. Then, lets go to
the saving and printing
process. How do we save
our presentation?

We save it through clicking


the save icon or clicking the
Office Button then, Save if
you will save it to its
previous/same location.
Click Save As if you will
save it to a new location.
We print the slides by
clicking the Office Button
then Print.

Very good! And how do we


print it?
None. Maam.
Correct! And then after
clicking the Print, a dialog
box will appear. You can set
there how you want to see
your slides, the number of
copies and its color.
Is there anything else you
want to ask regarding the
manipulation of Microsoft
Office Powerpoint?

G. APPLICATION/EVALUATION (15 minutes)


Create a powerpoint presentation about your family.
The presentation should contain at 5-15 slides.
Save the powerpoint presentation with your last name as its filename.
