Business Development and Finance Manager

People and Drugs (Silx Teen Bar), which works in partnership with the Blyth School Youth
Service and as a partnership is the largest youth delivery provider in Northumberland, is
looking to appoint a Business Development/ Finance Manager.

This is a very exciting opportunity for an experienced professional, who thrives on a

challenge and responsibility. You need to be experienced at senior level and have the
vision, business knowledge and capability of developing our Charity. You also need to be a
team player, excellent communicator and be experienced of effective strategic planning and
with a proven track record of success.

The purpose of the post is to work very closely with management committee and to assist in
the development of the organisation’s vision, by managing the finances of the organisation
and ensuring that Silx Teen Bar is provided with the strategic, business planning and
financial security, to develop and maintain the services and the reputation for excellent
service delivery.

The officer will have responsibility of providing the management committee of the
organisation with monthly and annual financial information and to work very closely with
Senior Practitioner at the Blyth School and the Senior Youth Worker attached to the Silx
Teen Bar and to facilitate the needs of the youth team in order to extend and develop the
existing and partnership provision.
