• Audience feedback plays a vital role when constructing media products, as it
enables you to gain information from your target audience on what they would like to see improve and what they like about your product.
• The feedback I gained from my audience was from Facebook and
Questionnaires.
• I used Facebook as I recognised that my target audience would use these
social websites and it would be a great way to gain feedback from them. • I uploaded these images of my different masthead designs onto my Facebook page and asked for feedback as to which one was the best.
The top right design was chosen, so I
decided to use that masthead for my magazine. • I also uploaded images of the drafts of the contents page, cover and double page spread for my magazine Expose. • This helped my to work out what I needed to improve on my magazine. And feedback such as ‘Have a larger cover image,’ and ‘Make the sell lines stand out more.’ Helped me to improve my product.
