ACTILIME DSC

ACTILIME DSC is a Dehairing and Swelling Control agent for liming.

It is a liquid blend of effective reductive chemicals.
It does not contain inorganic sulfides or volatile amines.

PROPERTIES
ACTILIME DSC presents high dehairing and good grain cleaning effect as well as good opening up
of limed pelts.
ACTILIME DSC allows drastic reduction of sodium sulfide in unhairing stage.
Due to synergistic effect of its component, it accelerates diffusion of liming chemicals with
following benefits: it controls swelling and reduces liming time.
ACTILIME DSC can be used in Hair Burning or Hair Saving process.
Pelts treated with ACTILIME DSC shows very good cleanliness and a better layout.
APPLICATIONS
BOVINES : Liming in drum (% based on fresh salted weight)

Hair-Burned process
1- 2% ACTILIME DSC undiluted, 20- 30 min before other liming chemicals

Hair-Saving process
1- 1.5% ACTILIME DSC undiluted, 20 min. before immunization (1-1.2% Lime)

STORAGE
The product must be stored between 5 and 40C and, under these conditions, it has shelf-life of 1
year. Special care should be taken by closing back the opened drums in use.
NB: The product color and aspect may change during storage but this will not affect the efficiency of
ACTILME DSC.
