I really liked the organization of this paper. I feel the distinct splits make for easier reading.
There is good information here describing some of the finer details of motivation/reward
function in food wanting and liking. Elaborating on the functional heterogeneity among
different regions of the Nacc and VP is very important. I feel these regions are often easily
grouped into an oversimplified area of dopaminergic pleasure function.

Aptly stated in the first paragraph, the connection between cannabinoid research and
marijuana is often blinding. Here, good background about cannabinoid signaling is given. It
then smoothly builds into experiments and other knowledge about CB1 signaling while
teasing about future possibilities and directions. Importantly, I felt this paper was very
accessible.

Everything here is very simply stated and concise. Reading it felt very smooth, and it was
easy to understand. Relevant issues surrounding oxytocin and parental quality are
described without oversimplification. Solid details are given, and there is an appropriately
cautionary tone emphasizing that there is much more to be uncovered on this topic.
