vi.

There is no compromise on punctuality and attendance.

Book ought to be bought by the next class.
Chapter must be read by the students before the class.
Class participation has marks, so everybody must participate in
class discussions.
Each absent will set a student back by 0.25 mark and each late
coming will set a student back by 0.125 mark (4 absents=1 mark/ 4
late comings=0.5 mark).
Absenteeism, if necessary, ought to be reported beforehand to the
CRs of the class.

Paper Pattern:
Paper will cover all the chapters that would have been covered till then.
Answers should be to-the-point. Extra details ought to be avoided in the
paper. The paper of mid-term will be as per the following schedule:

It will consist of two sections: A and B.

Section A will be compulsory and will contain 15 marks. It will have
16 MCQs, each containing 1 mark. Students will have to attempt all
MCQs. Each MCQ will have three choices to choose from.
Section B will be worth 10 marks and will contain 5 questions.
Students will have to attempt 3 questions. Each question will be of 3
marks.

Note: Further ambiguities, if any, may be clarified from the CRs.
