Williamsburg Field Trip Itinerary

April 12th-14th, 2016

Day One Tuesday, April 12th
(Students should wear McKee Wear)
5:30: Arrive at school
5:50: Begin boarding busses
6:00: Depart from McKee
8:00-8:30: Rest Stop in Burlington for breakfast (need to pack a totally disposable breakfast)
12:00: Lunch at Fast Food Stop (students expense, do not pack in suitcase)
1:30-3:45: Aquarium & Marine Science Center
4:00: IMAX National Geographic Presentation of Mysteries of the Unseen
5:00: Depart for dinner & DJ dance party @ Holiday Inn Patriot (salad, pizza, pasta, bread, dessert, and drink) updated
10:00: Arrive at Springhill Suites in Williamsburg
Day Two Wednesday, April 13th
(Students should wear class t-shirt. Davila: green, Grice: yellow, Hedrick: pink, Mosteller: blue)
7:30-8:30: Breakfast at the hotel
9:00-12:00: Guided Tour of Colonial Williamsburgs Historic Area
12:00-1:00: Boxed Lunch at Bicentennial Park (Turkey/Swiss sandwich, chips, brownie, & bottled water)
1:45-4:45: Free time to explore more of Colonial Williamsburg
4:45-5:45: Fife and Drum Presentation/Reading of the Declaration of Independence
6:00: Dinner at the Golden Corral in Williamsburg
7:00: Colonial Medicine Program
8:30: Return to the hotel for the evening
Day Three Thursday, April 14th
(Students should wear their purple field trip t-shirt.)
(Please have bags packed and rooms checked before breakfast. Luggage may be left in the room until after
breakfast. We will be loading the busses around 8:50ish and we will not be returning to the hotel for anything.)
8:00: Breakfast at the hotel
9:10: Load buses and depart for Jamestown Settlement
9:30-12:00: Jamestown Settlement guided tour
12:00: Lunch at the Jamestown Settlement Caf (Preordered meal)
1:30: Load Jamestown Ferry
5:00: Rest Stop (Classes will collect snack and water donations before the trip.)
7:30-8:00: Arrive back at McKee Road
