Introductory Writing Guide

Today you get the Introductory Writing Guide for the IC


department. It has a lot of useful information in it that will help
you become a better writer. We will look at the guide very
closely today, however, you should keep it with you and use it
whenever necessary.

Working with your partner, look at the Writing Guide and answer
the questions below.

1) What font should you use when typing your assignments?

3) Write down three different kinds of essays.

12) Look at the marking rubric and answer the following questions.
a) If you get 3 for your GRAMMAR score, what does it mean?
