Former Defense Secretary Sh. G.K. Pilla y spoke in an interview that the
previous Congress Government changed the first affidavit regarding Ishrat
Jahan encounter in which the y clearly mentioned that she was a Lashkare-Toiba terrorist. But government changed this affidavit and filed another
affidavit where the y deleted the name of Lashkar-e-Toiba. This all was
started in 2004 when the encounter was happened. In 2007 the y changed
the first affidavit and produced second affidavit that Ishrat Jahan was not
a LeT terrorist.
