the
Principle
The anti-inflammatory effect of Glucocorticoid is very
strong, it is effective on all kinds of inflammation and
every stage.
Dimethylbenzene and other inflammatory substances
was wiped on the ear of animals, it will damage part
cells, accelerate the release of histamine, bradykinin
and other inflammatory substances, lead to the acute
edema in ear.
Ointment
[Materials]
1. Animals: Mouse, weight of 25-30 g, male.
2. Drugs: 0.5% hydrocortisone injection,
dimethylbenzene, normal saline.
3. Instrument: syringe (1 mL2), analytical balance,
mouse puncher (diameter of 8 mm).
[Method]
Two male mice every group, weight of 25-30 g,
weigh and mark. Dimethylbenzene of 0.05-0.1 mL
was wiped in the left ear (front and back) of the
two mice.
30 mins later, 0.5% hydrocortisone injection was
intraperitoneally injected into one mouse (0.1
mL/10 g), the same dose of normal saline was
intraperitoneally injected into the other mouse.
Method
The mice will be dislocated executed after
administration for 1.5 hours. We get the ear piece
from right and left ears in the same place of every
mouse using the diameter of punch, then weigh
them using the table balance.
