Objectives
1. Learn "Round Dance"
a. Play through Round Dance together while keeping an eye on proper fingerings
and posture
b. Play through with separate parts (as a round)
2. Start learning "Little Tom Tinker"
a. Rhythm- discuss and review 6/8 time
3. Solos
Procedure
1. Warm up
a. Buzzing, sirens on the mouthpiece, then match my pitch on mouthpiece
b. Play C scale (concert Bb) at least up to A and back down (as whole notes)
c. Practice rhythms (6/8 meter) using C scale
2. Round Dance
a. Count the rhythm for Round Dance
b. Name and finger notes measure by measure
c. Work through two measures at a time, then put it all together
d. Separate and play as a round
3. Little Tom Tinker
a. Teach and count rhythm- one-trip-let, two-trip-let, etc.
4. Solos
