The different approaches to business ethics are:

a. Utilitarian: Here in this utilitarian approach, managers mainly judges the effects of the
certain actions made by the people who are directly involved in that particular task which
will lead to greatest good for the greatest number of the people involved. This approach is
related to the actions of the people rather than that of the motives behind that particular
task.
b. Moral Rights: This approach is highly related with the rights of the people related or
involved with particular task. This will always take the consideration that the actions
taken for the task are right or wrong. It always considers the rights related to safety,
privacy, freedom to speak, etc rather than the results.
c. Social Justice: Here under this approach the manager will judge the consistency of the
actions like equity, impartiality and the fairness regarding the disbursement of rewards
and costs among the people, individuals and the groups related to the particular tasks. The
various other sub approaches under social justice are as follows:

Liberty Principle
Difference Principle
Distributive-Justice Principle
Fairness Principle
Natural-Duty Principle
