To Whom It May Concern:

My name is Vincent Mejia, and I am a senior at Sanger High School looking to
have a memorable time for the remainder of the year. Throughout my high
school years, I am proud to say I have had a very enjoyable and successful
athletic career. Participating in varsity volleyball, football, and soccer taught
me the true value of leadership and sparked my interest in Business
Management.
As time passes, I realize the importance of enjoying your career on a daily
basis. For this reason, I feel a degree in Business Management would suit me
perfectly. I look to finish off the school year with a 4.4 GPA and pass my
Economics AP tests with either a four or a five to gain credit for some prerequisite courses needed for my degree. I then would like to attend a fouryear university in hopes of obtaining my Masters of Business Administration
degree. Once completed, I look forward to managing a branch of a large
scale corporation.
As I have progressed through my four years of high school, I have developed
skills that are critical for thriving and succeeding in a workplace
environment. My experience in athletics has not only inscribed leadership
qualities within myself, but also an understanding in how to work as a unit. In
addition, my athletics background at Sanger High has blessed me with a
hunger for success. It pushes me to give one hundred percent both on and
off the court. Due to many of the difficult AP courses I have taken, I have
been forced to hold high standards in regards to my work. Taking multiple AP
courses has taught me time management and perseverance. I have given
myself the mindset of What must be done, has to be done, Currently, I am
ranked twelfth in my class out of six hundred and seventy-nine other
students. I hope to continue to rise in the rankings as we approach
graduation to make the top ten. I expect nothing short of perfection from
myself and neither should my future colleagues or bosses. Outside of school,
I have also volunteered over 400 hours of my time to helping take care of
children from the ages of five to ten. Working with these kids was a great
experience, and it helped me learn the value of patience and understanding.
I am open to discussing any future questions or concerns you may have
about me. I can be contacted at (559) 493-0114

Sincerely,

Vincent Mejia
