Sub.: 1. CAT-II Schedule Winter 2015-16 Semester
2. Attendance calculation
The CAT-II schedule for the courses offered during the Winter 2015-16 Semester is given below. All
the examinations will be of Open Book type and the CAT II examinations will be coordinated by the
SENSE.

CAT-II for the courses offered under the above slots, except the courses soft skills, Ethics and Values
and IIP shall be conducted on the dates and times specified above. Note that there are few
examinations scheduled based on the name of the courses also. All regular classes will be
operational on Monday, the 11th of April 2016, except for the examination timings for the courses
ENG1002 and MEE1001 (where 73 students appear on OD, and who will attend the classes after
examination gets over at 10.00 AM). Venue details can be viewed in FFCS student login.
Attendance entry will be closed at 8.30 PM on 1st April 2016 (Friday) to facilitate the generation of
debarred students. Hence, faculty are requested to post attendance of all their courses without fail
by 1st April 2016. Debarred students are not permitted to write CAT-II/Mid-Term exam. Request for
posting/change in attendance entry by faculty cannot be entertained after the closing of the
attendance. Attendance entries will be re-opened only after the completion of CAT-II exams.
For the purpose of calculation of CAT-II (or equivalent under PBL/ RBL) attendance percentage,
the course-wise attendance for the period between 4th January 2016 (or) the date of final course
registration (whichever is later) to 1st April 2016 (inclusive) will be taken into account. Minimum
attendance requirements shall be as specified in Section 8 of Academic Regulations of the University.
The busses will be operated in regular timings in the morning and evening trips on all week days. On
Saturdays and Sundays (2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th April 2016), the busses will be operated in the usual
timing in the morning and will leave the campus by 1 30 PM in the afternoon.
