For my exploratory essay I took on the question, Does divorce negatively affect

families? From my own experience I concluded that, for me, divorce didnt negatively affect my
family. There were positives and negatives from the divorce, but at the end of it all were all
happy with what we have and I dont think wed change it.
I felt like my question didnt necessarily have a targeted audience. Even though there
are people that are in divorced families and there are people that are not, I feel like my essay
can reach out to anyone because my essay just shares my experiences, stories, and opinions
on the topic.
Im proud of my conclusion where I used parallelism to make my last bold statement and
really answer the question.
Originally, I had an essay that was uncoordinated and jumbled. I read through a couple times
and rearranged the text to find the perfect positioning based on chronology and if the passage
actually made sense and flowed into the others.
