Dear Mayor:

This is the committee meeting schedule that will be held in the

City Council Chambers on May 4, 2010. All Council committee
meetings shall begin that afternoon at 4:00 p.m. unless otherwise
designated.

Community Development Committee Meeting at 4:00 p.m.

1. To hear a report from Stephanie Jackson concerning the census

report.

2. To hear an update from Convention & Visitors Bureau and

Chamber of Commerce on the marketing of the City. (Buy Cenla
Campaign)

Public Works/Zoning Committee Meeting at 4:30 p.m. or

immediately following

1. To discuss the marketing of the Alexandria Riverfront Center.

2. To hear a report from the Administration on procedures on

acquiring the rights for property Liens.

Please have your staff note the change in format for the
committee meetings done in compliance with R. S. 42.7. The
Council has directed that the City Clerk may advise the public of
scheduling regarding committee meetings. It is always that
intention of the Council to convene committee meetings at the
conclusion of the prior committee meeting unless the Chair of the
meeting may indicate otherwise for the convenience of the public.
Have appropriate members from your Administration present for
discussion.
