the Revolutionary War.

Format: News segment that informs the public using video and voice over for charts.
Topic: Describe the Boston Tea Party and explain why this was an important event in Colonial
America.

Directions
1. Visit History Channel: American Revolutionary War to learn more about the Boston Tea
Party.
2. Using the worksheet: Storyboard, create your timeline and script for your video
3. Ensure that your script is easy to read, advice: type it.
4. Practice with the script. Ensure you can read it clearly and with expression.
5. Create the timeline that will be used in the video with voice over.
6. Edit the video and insert the timeline and voice over.
7. View the finished product before turning it in to ensure that there are no mistakes i.e.
spelling.

Assessment: Students will be graded on a scale of 100 points. 25 points for content and accuracy
of events, 25 points for use of media, 50 points for overall content and creativity.

RAFT Row 2
Objective: Students will be able to create a power point presentation that a historian would create
for a museums website. This is going to be done objectively with a mindset of a Historian.
Historian by definition is someone who is an expert in history especially in a specific time period
or era.

Topic: Choose a battle in the American Civil War and discuss the battle techniques of both the

Research the battle you have picked.
Use the worksheet provided to create the outline of your power point.
Create your power point using music, video or any other interactive media to explain the
outcome of the battle due to the tactics each side used in that battle. Make sure everything
is properly cited as taught in class.
5. Check and read your notes along with your power point presentation to ensure no
mistakes are made.
6. Present to class and submit for grading.

This can include any major event from political to musical i.e. John Lennons death.

6. Present to the class and submit to me for grading.
