Mutual Cancellation and No Show Policy

Mutual Cancellation: If for any reason the interpreter

must cancel the requested services, the interpreter
agrees to notify the hiring entity within 3 business days.
The interpreter may also provide an alternative service
provider if necessary and if possible. If for any reason the
hiring entity needs to cancel requested services, they
must do so within 48 hours of the scheduled assignment
or they will incur full charges for the requested service
time.
No Show Policy: Similar to the cancellation policy, if the
client does not show up to the assignment the hiring
entity will incur full charges for the requested service
time. The interpreter agrees to wait fifteen minutes for
each hour of the assignment for the client to show up,
however if the client does not show up within that time
the interpreter has the right to leave the assignment and
bill for the requested services.

*Special conditions for cancellations may be negotiated, if necessary, at the time of

each request. Such special conditions must be documented in writing and agreed
upon by the requesting entity and the interpreter. For conference settings, the no
show policy may be renegotiated depending upon the situation.
