It is my pleasure to provide this letter of recommendation for Yujie Wang. Yujie is applying for a position as a registered nurse at your facility. Based on my observations of Yujie as a student at the University of Arizona College of Nursing, I believe she will make an excellent candidate for a position in your organization. Yujie is a student enrolled in a community health nursing course I am teaching this semester. For the clinical rotation in the course, Yujie completed a 5-week rotation with the Pima County Health Department Pubic Health Nursing Division, conducting a community assessment and providing population-focused care to vulnerable communities. The care included working with a population living at St. Lukes Home, a supervisory care facility for low-income elders. Based on her grades, her attendance, and her ability to work with others, I would rate her performance in my class as excellent. Yujie possesses a number of strengths that make her a good candidate for a position at your facility. She is reliable and responsible, as she consistently has met deadlines, completes assigned tasks, and honors her commitments. She has good interpersonal and leadership skills and works well with others. Yujie is a skilled and creative health educator with individuals and groups. The service-learning project she completed for the course involved a significant amount of research and creativity, skills that Yujie has mastered. Yujie demonstrated initiative by going beyond course requirements and volunteering to work at a Saturday screening clinic for the elders. Most importantly, Yujie demonstrated compassion and respect for vulnerable populations, especially older and disabled adults. In conclusion, I would highly recommend Yujie Wang for a position as a registered nurse at your facility. If her performance in my class is any indication of how she will perform as a registered nurse, Yujie will be a positive addition to your health care team. Please feel to contact me at the number below if I can be of any further assistance. Sincerely,
