Canadian Charity and Celebrities Unite to Inspire Hamilton Youth
HAMILTON, Ont. February 17, 2016 Canadian charity, Free the Children, will be bringing a star studded event to Hamilton, Ontario to inspire our youth. On March 1, elementary and secondary schools from Hamilton and surrounding areas will have the opportunity to listen to their idols discuss the importance of helping others around the world. Were constantly telling our children that they are the future, said Robert Plant, mayor of Hamilton. Its about time we do something to encourage and motivate them to get involved and change the world. This weekend long event will bring some of Canadas greatest celebrities to Hamilton to perform, inspire and talk to our youth. Students will hear founder Craig Keilburger talk about his amazing journey in creating Free the Children at the age of 12. They will also be given the opportunity to meet some of the people whose lives have been saved by this organization. Hosted by Canadian actor, Jim Carrey, we will also hear performances from Hedley, The Arkells, and Justin Bieber. Free the Children is an international charity founded in 1995 by Craig Keilburger and his brother, Marc Keilburger.
