Helping the Hamilton Community to find its way to Out of the Cold
Hamilton, Ont. March 28, 2016 - On April 2, 2016 between 12 pm and 4 pm a group of
students will be holding an awareness event for the Hamilton Out of the Cold meal service
program. The event will include free food, flyers and friendly faces for all who visit the Value
Village located on 530 Fennell Ave E.
We at Hamilton Out of the Cold are excited to have these students and Value Village
team up to spread the word about Hamilton Out of the Cold Said Sister Nance head of Hamilton
Out of the Cold. They are really helping us let the community know about our two mountain
locations.
The event is being organized students in the Mohawk Public Relations Graduate
Certificate program. The aim of the event is to inform the community about the where and when
they can visit to get a hot home cooked meal. The event will focus on the Hamilton Mountain
meals, which are located at Immanuel Christian Reformed Church and St. Stephen on the Mount
Anglican Church.
Hamilton Out of the Cold is a locally run community meal program. The program started
in 1997 and serves hot, healthy and delicious breakfasts and dinners to the local Hamilton
community. The program welcomes all visitors to join them at their ten locations throughout
Hamilton.
