Honorable Citizen
AP Biology Osmosis and Difusion Lab
WHY IS THIS AN IMPORTANT TRAIT?
An honorable citizen is not only one who can successfully participate in our
unique system of democracy, but also be a role model for other citizens to follow.
Individuals such as these are those who lead the way, and find the path to success.
Through their actions they will not only be successful in the realm of finances, but
in the level of social respect.

HOW DO YOU DEMONSTRATE THIS

TRAIT IN YOUR DAILY LIFE?
Each day of my life, inside and outside the classroom, I evaluate my actions
carefully. I undertake this action so that I may be worthy of the respect and thought
that I wish to receive. In addition, I give others the respect they deserve by
listening to their interests and concerns. This allows me to truly become part of the
community, and give others a voice when they need it most. A motto of mine going
back to childhood is treat others the way you want to he treated, and as such I
give the utmost respect.

HOW DO THE SAMPLE(S) YOUVE

PROVIDED SHOW THAT YOU ACTIVELY
DEMONSTRATE THIS TRAIT?
The AP Biology Osmosis and Diffusion Lab demonstrates that I am a

Honorable Citizen. Through this lab, I teamed with peers worked together to
discover data on the rate of diffusion through dialysis tubing. After each group
presented their rates of diffusion, I independently worked to determine the average
rate of diffusion and their standard deviation. I was able to embrace diversity
among my peers to determine our group's rate of diffusion, and as well as
embracing other groups' data. This data will allow me to cooperate with and
successfully complete projects with others.
