2016 Mobile Area Rugby Foundation PR Plan

Introduction

Evaluation

After the inagural youth rugby

league in 2015, MARF is looking to
increase the number of participants
heading into the spring season.
For MARF, One Mobile will set out to
accomplish two things. First,
increase the number of participants
from 25 to 50 and to generate more
community interest in the program.
One Mobile will target male and
female children age 9-14 along with
male and female adults age 30-50
all living within 10 miles of Mobile,
Ala.
The key messages we will deliver
are that rugby is safe and fun, a
great exercise for children and that
our league promotes sportsmanship
and develops team building.
The tactics we will use will be
demonstrations at local grade
schools, social media postings,
creating flyers and handing them
out at the demonstrations and
generating press releases.
Fox 10 Mobile, Mobile Bay Parents
Magazine, WPMI 15, WKRG TV 5,
Mobile Lagniappe & Mobile PressRegister
The way we will evaluate the
success of our plan will be by the
number of participants in the league
and the number of fans that will
