Our quiz was designed for grade four students to test their knowledge on rhythm and the basic beginnings of expression.
Of course, this quiz was designed for the students under the impression that they have been taught by us in the past, and that we
have formatively pre assessed their knowledge on the two subjects. We decided to grade each section of the quiz out of 1, with
the exception of question #7. That particular question we found would actually be quite difficult to assess, and we spent a good
amount of time struggling with the weighting of it. In the end, we decided that as long as our students could correctly make 4
beats, they would get full points for that question. Therefore, we made the question out of 2, 0.5 for each correct beat. We
decided that if they got half a beat, we would still consider it wrong. Students in the fourth grade should be comfortable filling
in a bar with four beats, and therefore we decided that we would consider it incorrect if they couldnt complete a full beat. This
quiz should be extremely possible to do for any fourth grade student if they have been taught the curriculum. We both enjoyed
the experience of creating this quiz, and found that it will come in extremely in the future!
