    toreceiveaneducation.Iworkwiththeentiretyofmysocietytopromotethecelebrationof
    Spanishtraditionssuchasdiadelosmuertosandcincodemayo.
    EachmonththesocietyneedstoraisesixtydollarstoaidthegirlsinSouthAmericato
    attendschool.Thisprogramopensupopportunitiesfortheyounggirlstogrowaninterestin
    theireducation.Fromthesegirlsreceivinganeducationitbecomesextremelybeneficialtothem.
    Thisgivesthegirlstheopportunitytogooffandusetheireducationtofindacareerandnotonly
    maketheirlivesbetterforthemselves,butalsofortheirfamily.SHSempowersgirlssothatthey
    canbeinfluentialintheworldthrougheducation.Iamproudtobepartofasocietythatreaches
    outtogirlsinneedofaid.SHSimpactsyounggirlsbymotivatingthemtobeindependentand
    hardworkingintheworldfromtheireducation.
    Secondly,thesocietyispartofinteractingwithotherhighschoolstopromoteSpanish
    culture.ThesocietymeetswithclubstodiscusspoliticalissuesinSouthAmericaandhowwe
    canbringawarenesstotheseissues.Ibelieveitisimportanttobringawarenesstopeoplearound
    mebecauseSpanishcultureisaverylargepartoftheUnitedStatesandtheamountofSpanish
    speakersisconstantlygrowing.Ifpeoplecanlearntounderstandtraditionsandthecultureitself
    itcanbebeneficialbyhelpingthosebemoreacceptingoftheculture.SponsoringgirlsinSouth
    AmericabringsawarenessoftheSpanishculture.Itimpactspeopleinapositivewaybyopening
    peopleuptonewculturestocreateopportunities.SHShasimpactedmetohelpmegain
    understandingforothercultures,theissuesofpoverty,andthevalueofeducation.
