Berry Grading Policy
Berry Grading Policy
’
April 28, 2010
Once again the Collier County Public Schools administration is an embarrassment to our
county.
This is the end of April; why were high-school parents and students not informed until now about
the grading policy change? As a taxpayer, I find it unconscionable that an administrator would
make a remark “that it was an oversight that all stakeholders weren’t informed.” An oversight,
indeed! Are there so many layers in the bureaucracy at the administrative center that the right
hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing?
There is absolutely no excuse for this. The “buzz” word today in government is “transparency”
and there certainly is nothing transparent about this action.
