2, There are two periods of time when a woman is prohibited
{om having relations with her husband ~ even f she has not seen
4 bloody ‘emission, These two time periods are called Yom
Ho'vesset. Based on the woman's cycle, its posible that she wil
have an emission during these periods of time,
3, There are two categories of Yom HavVeset. One is Yor
HotChedesh, The second is called Yorn Ha'Hoflagah,
4. Yom Ho\Chodesh is the day of the month ypon which the
woman began her last period Iti ikstrated by the following
‘example. a woman saw blood on the third day of Nisan, then
the thi day of lyr (which i the next Hebrew month) s her Yom
H'Chodesh and she is prohibited to her husband on that dy.
'. Yom Ha'Haflagoh is determined by the number of days between
the onset of periods. If for example, the woman had an emsion
‘onthe fist day of Nisan, and then had an emission on the twenty-
fith day of Nisan, she has a cycle of twenty-five days. (The frst and
the lst days are incuded in the court). Ths & her Vesset
Ha'Haflogch. Based upon this count, she is to count forward
