PROJECT E2016

eVote Voting System Technology

2016 Barangay and 2019 National & Local
Elections
Introduction:
The Consortium, LAMBTON TECHNOLOGIES INC., in partnership with
INTELSAT, USA have submitted a proposal to the Office of the President, His
excellency, BENIGNO SIMEON C. AQUINO Jr. and to the Honorable Office of
the Chairman of the Commission On Election a proposal for a new integrated
electoral technology for the forthcoming 2016 Presidential Election. The new
system was defined as eVote 2016. The proposed automated process was
presented to the commission en banc on January 28, 2014 and to the
Comelec Advisory Council (CAC) on March 25, 2014. In the series of
presentations done by the company, it earns a positive acceptance from the
commission only the problem it encountered was that the
Commission seemingly committed to the system introduced by the
Smartmatic and was all set and geared towards the 2016 National and Local
Elections.
But even with the commitment made by the former administration of the
Commission in favor of the Smartmatic, The Consortium, remains firmed on
its stand that eVoting is the most economical, accurate, secured and the
fastest system for the automated election process.
With the appointment of the New Chairman and new Commissioners, The
Consortium would like to reiterate its offer to the Government particularly to
the Commission on Elections.
