Originating Idea: The children have been having problems expressing their
feelings by themselves.

Resolution
Materials: Puppets
Appropriate Age Group: 2-4 year olds
Beginning of Activity: We will read a book about feelings.
Middle of Activity:
Early Extension: Some children will use the puppets to have a dialogue.
Middle: Most children will have a conflict that they act out with the puppets
& tell the other child how they feel.
Later Extension: Some children will pick a partner & have a dialogue about
what one did & how that made them feel. Then they will come up with a conflict
resolution.
End of Activity: We will discuss how we can resolve the conflicts.
Follow up Ideas (2): -Have puppets in the dramatic play area.
-Have old socks in the art area so they can create their own puppets.
