Planning for Student Learning Needs

Physical and Mental Disabilities
i. Students with physical disabilities that cannot
perform the tasks within the lesson, will be
partnered with a student. If their disability makes
it difficult for them to write, they will be given a
scribe to assist them.
ELL Students
i. Students would also be paired with a student to
guide them through the worksheet and different
task if they are unable to comprehend the steps.
Also, if really needed, students could be provided
a chart and instructions in their native language.
Literature Lesson (Penguins reading)
Planning for Student Learning Needs
English Language Learners: The two ELL students will
be partnered up with an advanced reader to help them
through the text.
Behavioral problems: The students with behavioral
problems will be monitored and paired with students
that they get along with the most.
Reading difficulties: Any students with reading
difficulties, will be paired with students more advanced
in reading.
Math Lesson Plan (Using tens)
Planning for Student Learning Needs
English Language Learners: The two ELL students will
be able to discuss any comprehension issues with their
teacher.
Behavioral problems: The students with behavioral
problems will be monitored and issues will be dealt with
as needed, like any other day.
Reading difficulties: Any students with reading
difficulties, will be able to obtain help from their teacher
working with them.
