The recommendations made and opinions expressed in this report are based on the boring records, the examination of samples end the resuits of the site and laboratory teste, Possible variations of the ‘underground conditions, not revealed by the current investigation cannot be disregarded. Hence, no responsibilty can be held for conditions, which have not been revealed by the boreholes and therefore ‘not contemplated in this report. ‘There are many uncertainties in determining the allowable bearing pressure of the soll. A number of Uncertainties can be summarized es the complexity of soll behavior, the lack of contro! over environmental changes after construction as well asthe incomplete knowedge of subsurface conditions, ‘These uncertainties have to be evaluated for each site and a suitable safety factor shall be assigned. As ‘a general rule, the assigned safety factor for sites with limited soil exploration shall be increased since the factor of safety depends not only on the structural information but also on the reliabilty of soi parameters. ‘This soll investigation report basically folows the Briish Standard BS 5830: 1999, Code of practice for Site investigations, with recommendations adapted to suit local coneitions and practices. It should be noted that the recommendations and guidance given in this geotechnical report are not ‘mandatory. It's tecognized that the practitioner will often need to use alternative methods. ‘The interpretations and recommendations contained in this repart are based on the results of the in-situ and laboratory tests performed at the time of investigation. A generalized continuous sub-surface succession has been inferred from these findings, the accuracy of which cannot be assured at locations ‘other than those investigated. Possible variations of the under ground conditions, not revealed by the performed investigation and therefore not completed in this report can not be disregarded. ‘Our professional ervices have been performed using the degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised Under similar conditions by reputable qualified Enginaers.
