The student will investigate and describe the concept of probability as chance and list possible
results of a given situation.
OBJECTIVE:
Today we willlearn about probability-the chance an event happening.
So you canknow how to identify the degree of likelihood of an outcome occurring.
Ill know you have it whenyou can use the correct terms, and create different combinations with
data (4/5 times).

Create anchor chart with the following terms: certain, likely, unlikely, equally likely,
impossible.
Day 1:
Review combinations.
TSW complete worksheet 24.5.
PROCEDURES
Day 3: TSW complete heads or tails probability experiment in pairs.
Day 5: TSW will complete task cards as a scoot around the room.

Providing visual cues such as concrete models and modeled actions that
students will need to complete. Tasks will be broken down into smaller
components. Repeating and modifying instruction based on students learning
needs as observed throughout the lesson. Modifying how much a student has
to complete during a lesson. Completion of some activities at small group time.
