Advantages and Disadvantages of Debit Cards:
Advantages
1. Paper money is becoming thing of the past.
2. Banks offers many services whereby the customer can transfer funds or purchase a stocks without having any
physical cash or cheques.
3. Customers do not have to wait in lines for payments.
4. Debit cards and online bill payments allow immediate transfer of funds to personal account to businesss
account without any actual paper transfer of money.
5. Debit cards offer a great relief too many people and businesses.
Disadvantages
1. Sometimes it not safe to do the payment through debit cards.
2. The main reasons behind the not using the debit cards is fraud, failure of technology, possible tracking of
individuals and loss of human interactions.
3. Hacking into bank accounts and illegal retrieval of banking records.
4. Power failures are also a major issue while doing e-payment.
