    Carbon fiber reinforced self-consolidating concrete (CFR-SCC) is a new composite material that combines the benefits of self-consolidating concrete and carbon fiber reinforcement. Researchers tested the fresh properties of CFR-SCC mixtures with different carbon fiber contents and aspect ratios. They found that adding small amounts of carbon fiber up to 0.1% by volume improved the flowability and passing ability of fresh CFR-SCC without significantly increasing its viscosity.
