What I have learnt was social interactionism. In this method,
students are active learners and they are seen as a whole person. Vygotsky emphasizes the importance of interaction between people. As culture can be transmitted by language. He sees language holistic, he rejects that it can be broken down into small pieces. Reuven Feuerstein thinks that every human being has potential to learn something through suitable learning strategies which is learning how to learn. Vygotsky supports his thoughts theoretically. However Feuerstein emphasizes the practical needs. He exemplifies implications for teaching and learning.
I suppose I need to focus much more on my lesson. Because I’m
learning too many things that will useful to me in my teaching. I’m learning many new things, I’m going to feel as a teacher day by day.
I believe I may use in this information my teaching because
learning occurs in social environment. Without practicing, they will not learn permanently. Therefore, in my classes I’ll use many group work activities as make them interact with each other. I’ll give much more time to speak during the lessons. And I’ll think them all as whole person and as fully as possible I’ll help them to improve themselves providing them appropriate strategies.
