Inquiry and Based Learning:

Inquiry and Based Learning is a style of teaching which allows the students to
use their previous knowledge and current, to create a useful connection with a
new concept or process in an active way and when they connect information
with other information they build new information and its increase in their
knowledge list. More over inquiry base learning have levels of it, and they are
"open /real inquiry, guided inquiry, structure inquiry, confirmation inquiry.
5 Es:
The 5ES an order model based on the ways of learning, which is that learners
build new informations on their old information, and each of 5Es defines the
stage of learning. In otherhand, each of stage starts with letter E, and they are,
Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, Evaluate moreover they are all in order.
A-Engage: is to get students personally involved in the lesson and help
students to make connections between what they know and can do, for example,
my MST she use to put before illustrating the lesson a video or song and, after
that she asks them some questions about the they saw. And for that, she can
know how much they know about this topic.
B- In this part students will watch a video about the comparing by the number,
and as I am the teacher, I will ask them some questions about the video.
A- Explore: students participate in an activity that facilitates conceptual change,
or to get students involved in the topic and to provide them with a chance to
build their understanding. For example, my MCT he uses to give as an
opportunity to explore after teaching the concept so he will know that if we
understand the concept in the right way or not, and from exploring or Appling we
build more on our understanding which in great in my point of view.
B- Students will have freedom to select pictures or objects to compare by them
which is more and less, and their answer will be based on symbols.
A- Explain: in this stage: students generate an explanation of the phenomenon
that they was on it, or to give students a chance to comment on what they learn
or what they think and what they see, also in this stage students are extending
their knowledge because they are Commuting their ideas and their pieces of
advice which are valuable for them

B- After students will be done with the activity, students will explain to me how
they reach to the answer, did they get the answer quickly, or they face any
difficulty in the solution, how they start they to answer, and based on their
answers I will know if they are in right track on not .

A- EXTEND: In this stage students are using their new knowledge and old one
and connect them in real life. For example, my MCT he gives as a lesson about
the shapes and after that he ask form as to look around the class and classify
the shapes that are in the class, so he try to take the lesson from the board to
the real.
B- Fatima will ask her student to compare her money with her friend and after
that he will ask them how to have more or less, and they will compare
A-EVALUATE: this stage is for both students and teacher to determine how
much student understand the lesson, she can assess them by asking them or
giving them a worksheet. For instance when did my practices teaching in the end
I give my students a worksheet and some of them did it correctly, and other did
not, so for this I can recognize that did they understand what I teach or not if not
I have to repeat to him the lesson in a quick way and evaluate him one more
time.
B- She will give them a worksheet and from their work on the sheet she will
assess them if they realize the lesson or not.
