ECONOMY
-The economy depends on our president
-Every presidential decision, good or bad,
will affect the society
-If a good economy is present, itll result in
a happy and civil society
-If there is a bad economy, there could
possibly be riots and an upset society.
-The laws and policies that are made by
the president affect the economy
-Presidents are forced to apply policies so
a change can be made
-Therefore, choosing the correct president
thatll make the right decisions is
important

KNOWLEDGE OF CONTENT
Bernie Sander supports the following
-Reduced military spending
-Adjusting the minimum wage for the
American people and adjusting it to
inflation
-Cheaper and reduced costs of education
-A healthcare plan for everyone
-Build our middle class.
-Promoting social equality and helping the
poor people.
-Wants the lower class to survive and not
be ignored

Democracy- A form of government in
which the supreme power is controlled by
the people and exercised directly by them
or by their elected agents.

Primary: A state election in which party

members vote for a candidate that is in
their party.

Filibuster- An action such as a delayed

speech that interferes with progress in an
assembly while not technically following

Bernie wouldnt be a good president
because

-He automatically punishes the people

who have worked hard and rewards the
people who havent worked hard.
-Free market and capitalism improve an
economy while socialism distributes the
wealth by making everyone poorer.
-If college is free then prices in other
things will skyrocket.
-If health care is free then doctors won't
be making benefits or money and theyll
quit their job.

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS
Comparatively to the other competing
presidential candidates, why isnt Bernie
fit for president?
How would the U.S.A be impacted if
Bernie becomes president?
