and I am a teacher candidate from Northern State University. As my final field experience through NSU, I have been student teaching at Redfield Elementary School in the 4th grade classroom. This opportunity taught me many skills and strategies to implement in my own class and I was able to teach multiple subjects as well as get to know all the students well. I am currently a senior at Northern State University, majoring in elementary education. I will graduate next month and I have accepted a position at Redfield Elementary School for this coming fall. Prior to this opportunity in Redfield, I most recently spent two weeks at both May Overby Elementary and Holgate Middle schools in Aberdeen, observing the teachers and students, teaching lessons, and further developing my abilities and knowledge about the teaching profession. I have also substitute taught at various age levels and worked at the Aberdeen Recreation and Cultural Center as a teacher for the Discovery Program. My passion is working with children and helping them to grow and succeed. I believe that all students have the ability to thrive and reach their fullest potential, and it is my vision as a teacher to help them in that process. I plan to provide a student-centered classroom where students are teachers as well as learners. I feel very blessed to have so many wonderful teachers as mentors throughout my education and my hope is to create a classroom where students have fun and learn simultaneously. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns through the school office or at my email, Hannah.Luecke@wolves.northern.edu. I am anxious to get to know you and your child, and it is my hope to help them love school by having a great year together! Sincerely, Mrs. Hannah Edgar
