    CENA SA

    Triage Update Day


    This event was held on 8th November 2014 in Mount Gambier, South Australia. We had 18 attendees,
    most from the local area. On arrival they all received a CENA SA goody bag.
    All sessions were delivered as if a patient had just presented to the Triage Nurse. Some sessions were via
    teleconference and others face to face. The topics included;
    Drug & Alcohol
    Disaster management
    Trauma
    Mental Health
    Respiratory
    Paediatric
    Pregnancy related
    Eyes
    Mount Gambiers Blue Lake
    Minor injuries
    We also had a team-based competition throughout the day. This was a Triage 3 v 4 game. It facilitated
    networking and highlighted emergency nurses great problem solving skills!!
